Derwent Inktense Blocks bring a new sense of freedom to the drawing and painting experience. They are watersoluble ink blocks that can be used dry or wet. Dry, they deliver pure, vibrant color. When wet, they create a translucent ink-like paint that can be worked over when dry. Their chunky shape makes them extremely versatile. Use them dry to apply fine lines or broad strokes directly to the paper. Wet, they can be used like pans of paint, dipped in water to apply color directly to the paper, or applied to wet paper for instant, intense color. Inktense Blocks are ideal for loose, expressive landscapes and colorful still life paintings. They can also be used for rubber stamping, decoupage, or on fabric to create stunning silk paintings and quilts. They also combine beautifully with Derwent Inktense Pencils.

Derwent Inktense Pencils are our best watercolour pencil ever! You can use them dry but mix them with water and WOW! the colour turns into vibrant ink. Once it?s dry the colour is fixed and you can work over the top of it, and, because of its permanent feature it?s great for using on fabric such as silk and cotton! Contains Sun Yellow, Tangerine, Poppy Red, Fuchsia, Deep Indigo, Sea Blue, Teal Green, Apple Green, Leaf Green, Baked Earth, Bark and Ink Black.

Derwent Inktense Pencils, Open Stock
Derwent Inktense Pencils are as versatile as watercolor pencils, but with a firmer texture that allows them to perform with the brilliant intensity of traditional pen-and-ink. These pencils are available in strong, vibrant colors which work beautifully on their own or can be mixed together to create rich, subtle tones. The pure, clean colors are perfect for bold expressive drawings, including fashion illustration, landscapes, greeting cards, and more. Inktense pencils can be used dry for rich, intense color or washed out with a little water to create a vivid translucent effect. Once dry, the color is permanent and can be worked over with other media. Pencils are pre-sharpened.

Derwent Paper Stumps Set of 3
The paper stump makes the difficult job of blending dusty media such as charcoal and pastel much easier and cleaner. Once the stumps get dirty and the points wear down they can be easily cleaned and re-pointed using a sandpaper block.
Derwent paper stumps can be found individually or in a handy pack of 3 sizes ranging in diameter from 5.5mm to 10.5mm. The paper stumps are made from compressed rice paper and with a point at each end.
