Gel Mediums offer many ways to build texture. We offer five consistencies from our most viscous Extra Heavy Gel to Soft Gel. Each gel is available in Gloss, Semi-Gloss and Matte finishes. They can be used to create glazes, extend paint and change finishes. Gels are essentially colorless paint, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paint. Gels are also excellent adhesives for collage and mixed media, they dry with excellent flexibility with chemical, water and UV resistance.
Heavy Gels (L-R: Gloss, Semi-Gloss, Matte) are thicker than Heavy Body Acrylic Colors and may be blended with colors to increase body. Excellent for holding peaks. (Item # Gloss - 3050, Semi-Gloss - 3070, Matte - 3060)

High Solid Gels (L-R: Gloss, Matte) are similar in body to Heavy Gels. They contain more acrylic solids and shrink slightly less than other gels. They blend well with colors and will retain brush strokes upon drying. Available in gloss and matte.(Item # Gloss - 3120, Matte - 3130);
Golden Acrylic Mediums- Matte Medium #3530
Matte Medium is a liquid medium useful for extending color, decreasing gloss and increasing film integrity. It is also used as a nearly clear ground on canvas instead of gesso.
About Golden Mediums and Additives

Fluid Matte Medium is useful for extending colors, decreasing gloss and increasing film integrity while promoting even flow and leveling, and maintaining the film's stability. . These 100% acrylic polymer liquid mediums also decrease gloss and increase translucency. Matte Medium and Fluid Matte Medium can be used as an alternative to gesso to create a clear ground. Super Matte Medium should always be blended with acrylic paints or mediums. Mix gloss and matte mediums to create a custom satin finish.
Golden Airbrush Medium #3535
Airbrush Medium modifies GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics for spray application by reducing clogging and tip buildup during spraying. Recommended for spraying on garments, Airbrush Medium may also be used to thin other products for spraying such as Iridescent/Interference Acrylics and Gesso. NOTE: Airbrush Medium is NOT designed to mix with High Flow Acrylics (Use Airbrush Transparent Extender).

Golden Gesso-Bright White Acrylic Primer #3550
Gesso & Ground is a ready-to-use formulations for painting on most surfaces. They are flexible and can be applied in thin layers to conform to a variey to textures without cracking. For oil painting, we recommended that at least three layers of gesso. Gesso can be mixed with acrylic colors to produce a range of colored grounds.
