R&F Pigment Sticks® are oil paint manufactured with enough wax for the paint to be molded into stick form. They allow the painter to draw or paint directly onto a surface without brushes, palettes, paint tubes, or solvents. We use only the basic traditional materials: natural wax (beeswax & plant wax), linseed oil, and pigment. The result is an oil stick with a lipstick soft consistency.
Pigment Sticks® have none of the additives, extenders, substitutes, or facilitators that are commonly used in industrial production. While the use of these adulterants can save time and reduce cost, they lower the quality of the paint. To do without them it is necessary to create a very precise balance of the ingredients. Consequently our formulas are complex and our manufacturing is labor-intensive, handmade in small batches, carefully milled and molded.

The premium range of Camel Poster Colours is ideal for a smooth matt finish and a completely opaque mass tone. Made from the finest pigments, they give high covering capacity with a brush or a spray gun. They flow easily, dry quickly and evenly and are easy to mix. Camel Fluorescent Poster Colours give brighter artworks and superior visual impact. These must be carefully used as they as moderately permanent and lose their brilliance on intermixing. Besides the traditional pastel technique drawing, it is possible to combine this pastel with other painting materials such as ink, gouache, watercolour, acryl, coloured pencils and watercolour pencils. The pastel perfectly spreads on even and textural surface, easily stumps, and allows making bold strokes. It is possible to dilute the pastel with water and to draw on a wet surface.
